Safe Handling and Uses of Acrylonitrile
 This CD/ROM program provides an interactive training course that:
- Provides an overview of acrylonitrile manufacture, use and physical/chemical properties.
- Give details on acrylonitrile hazards, toxicity and stability.
- Describes practices for general hygiene, safety, and housekeeping for acrylonitirle (including personal/area monitoring and medical surveillance).
- Describes procedures for handling, transporting, and storing acrylonitrile.
- Provides information on appropriate responses to acrylonitrile spills, fire fighting involving acrylonitrile, and first aid procedures for acrylontirile exposures.
This information is provided in five different modules. Each module also includes a test, which when successfully completed, permits the printing of a certificate indicating completion of the module. The program will save test scores after logging off. It is also possible to use this training course for information purposes without taking the test.
